In Maths this week, Willow Class will be learning about addition and how to use a part whole model to represent an addition sum. If you want to know more about what we are covering, you can look for extra activities on the White Rose Maths website Year 1 Home Learning Week 5 (https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-1/week-5/).  We will also be doing some more work using a number line and practising how to form correctly orientated numbers.  

In our English work we are going to be exploring what different parts of a castle are called and writing some labels to put on our class castle. We will also start to sequence different parts of the Journey story and add our own explanation about what happens in each part of the story.

In topic work we are going to continue talking about the seasons and make some autumn pictures using leaves and natural resources.  In RE we will be thinking about what questions we have about God and how we can be loving and compassionate towards others.
