Remember to tune in to take part in our live registration. Mrs A will be there to welcome you, take the register and talk you through today’s learning. Maths 

We will be looking a subtracting money today.

Number Fluency 

Have a go at the 3 times table activity that has been set on MyMaths.

Reading 

Today we are looking at apostrophes for contractions. We have looked at this with Oak Academy and today we will be practising doing some ourselves.

Complete the sheet attached.

English 

Using the notes that you gathered on Thursday and Friday have a go at writing a page for your non chronological report. Choose one area eg ‘cave paintings’, remember your sub heading, factual language and you might like to add in a diagram or picture as an example. Please only do one subject area, we will be doing one each day this week. A template is attached below if you would like to use it.

Topic - People in the Iron Age (sometimes called Celts) left behind many elaborate pieces of jewellery or pottery showing their distinctive style of art. Visit

and have a look at some of the brooch designs. Look out for the following:

• Designs based on animals • Symmetrical patterns • Circles and spirals • Crosses or knots

Today we would like you to design an Iron Age shield or brooch using the features that you have seen in the designs. You can present this how every you like – junk modelling, clay, drawing, painting. Please send us pictures of you finished designs.
