In our main phonics lessons, we will be learning about the ‘er and ‘ing’ suffixes. We will also be reading the words ‘bought’ and ‘favourite’ and writing the words ‘more’ and ‘before’.

In Maths, we will be recognising and finding a quarter of an object and recognising and finding a quarter of a quantity.

In English, we will be continuing to use the story ‘The Great Explorer’ by Chris Judge as writing using past tense verbs and the sentence starters ‘Fortunately’ and ‘Unfortunately’.

In RE, we will be learning about the Hindu story of the Pearls and the Crow.

In Art, we will be making sketches of some flowers.

In Computing, we will be finishing our work on digital writing.

Willow class has PE on Tuesday afternoon and Thursday morning. Please make sure that your child has their PE kit in school on these days.
