Firstly, sorry about the delay in uploading this week’s blog post and homework will be issued tomorrow (Wednesday), due to the bank holiday yesterday.

This week, we will be focusing on the ‘Show in a Week’, joining forces with year 4 to begin rehearsing. You will have received advice about costumes prior to the Easter holiday, but if you require any help with base-layers, please do let me know.

Maths will continue with the second multiplication and division unit, focusing on dividing a 2-digit number by a 1-digit number, both with and without an exchange.

In Art, we will be creating props for the play.

PE will move to a different day this week, so please can the children keep their kit in school all week. This will be the case for the next three weeks. We will be continuing the tennis unit.

Homework will be issued on Wednesday this week and is due back the following Monday. If you have any questions about the homework, or if your child is having difficulty completing the work, please email, or leave a note in the homework book.

Reading Records can come in every day, but should always be sent in on a Monday and Thursday. Books will be changed on those days, but we will also do our best to change books every day if necessary. If you have any questions about your child’s reading level, please get in touch.
