In English and Communication this week, we are going to finish writing our Stone Troll chapter of the class quest. We will explore how we can add description about what Lady Belle can see and how she feels to improve our writing. 

In Phonics we will use 'ey' to make the /ee/ sound. Our tricky words are 'heart' and 'dangerous'. Our grammar focus is to use exclamation marks to express emotion or shouting. 

In Maths, we will focus on the 10x table. We will also explore temperature and use our arithmetic skills to solve measurement problems in context.  

In Science and Computing, we will complete our investigation evaluations. We will then start learning about habitats. 

In Time and Place we will focus on castles. We will consider how the Norman invaders used castles to help gain control of England in 1066. We will then focus on the key features of Motte and Bailey castles and consider how castles changed and developed. 

We will also complete PE, Design and the Arts, Mastering Number and PHSCE lessons as well.
